Black, Distressed Entry Table - Privately Sold

I recently finished this entry table for a client. I had originally planned on mod podging the fabric onto the table top; however, I chickened out. I found an amazing idea in Better Homes & Gardens 100 decorating ideas under $100 magazine and decided to go with it. The piece, painted in classic black, features fabric covered panels that can be placed on the table top and switched out depending on the season/style. I am very pleased with how this piece turned out and I hope my client loves the versatile table in her front entryway.

Not For Sale.

I love this! It's gorgeous! I bet she gets so many compliments on it!! Great work!

My only question, if she wanted to use it as an actual writing desk, would you just put a piece of glass on top of the fabric panels or is it hard enough you can still write on it or use it as a desk?

Thank you, Julia! It was a fun piece to do.
It actually would need a piece of glass on top in order to use it as a writing desk. I got this idea out of a 2008 Better Homes & Garden DIY magazine and loved it!
