Red Pepper Coffee Table - Privately Sold

I recently finished this red coffee table for a client's front sitting room. She wanted the darkest red I could find (without it looking too purple), so I chose Red Pepper by Behr. I painted, distressed, and applied polycrylic to protect the surface. I also updated the hardware to add a bit more character to the piece. I love how it turned out and I hope my client can enjoy it for years to come!

Privately Sold.

Black, Distressed Entry Table - Privately Sold

I recently finished this entry table for a client. I had originally planned on mod podging the fabric onto the table top; however, I chickened out. I found an amazing idea in Better Homes & Gardens 100 decorating ideas under $100 magazine and decided to go with it. The piece, painted in classic black, features fabric covered panels that can be placed on the table top and switched out depending on the season/style. I am very pleased with how this piece turned out and I hope my client loves the versatile table in her front entryway.

Blue, Distressed Desk - Privately Sold

The same client who requested the Brown Side Tables requested a desk be painted in the accent color of her master bedroom. She wanted her furniture to match her bedding, which I love, so I was excited to do this project!

The desk was painted the exact same color blue as the thread in her bedding, and we decided to tie some brown into the piece. I distressed the desk and used a brown glaze to give it an aged look and I used the same antique, distressed brass pulls that matched her brown side tables. I think the desk will look lovely in her master suite.

I still have the Distressed, Carved Buffet/Dresser for sale. I also have a lot of neat pieces waiting to be recreated including a console table (1st try at decoupage with fabric), side tables, a coffee table, a buffet, a French Provincial chest, a French Provincial side table, an accent/storage chest, and a bench. If you are interested in customizing any of these pieces then please email me. Thank you for checking out B's Refurnishings!

Distressed, Carved Buffet/Dresser

I just completed this rustic carved wood dresser. It has been painted a rich, deep brown that has been distressed to show an aged golden color underneath. As you'll see from the pictures, this piece has beautifully carved wood on each of the nine drawers and on the sides. It's a little hard to see in the following pictures, but the original knobs are SO cool. It is a very heavy piece that would be a beautiful Spanish style buffet or dresser. The dresser measures 76"x19"x29" (l,d,h).

Distressed White Dining Room Set

I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this project and it has turned out better than I ever expected! I painted this set a beautiful cream and distressed it. The seat cushions have been reupholstered with a modern print and beautiful accent piping. This dining room set is made by one of the finest furniture companies in America and will be a perfect addition to your home.
The table (without the leaves) measures 56"x45.5"x29.5" (l,w,h) and each leaf is 16"w.

Only $500. (SOLD)

I will be working on an authentic Mexican carved wood dresser/buffet over the next few weeks. Make sure to check back because this is definitely a unique piece and you won't want to miss out!

Black Distressed Dresser - Not For Sale

I visited my husband's family this weekend and his mother asked me to redo a dresser for her. This dresser had been painted at least three different times and was also used as my husband's baby changing table years ago. I loved getting the chance to work on such a special piece. His mom wanted a black dresser distressed with a hint of clay showing through. She also chose the absolute perfect knobs to go with her two color choices. Time did not allow for us to put a protective layer on it, but they will be doing that next week. Once the protection is applied, the areas that were distressed regain the satin finish of the surrounding unaltered areas. We had a wonderful time working on this piece and we think it turned out great!

Vintage Double Pedestal Desk

I have this unique vintage double pedestal desk painted a fun teal. I painted this piece many times to allow the black, red, and natural wood to show through where it has been distressed. It has also been coated with poly for durability. This desk has the original hardware and is made of solid wood. It would make a fun accent in your home office. It measures: 44"x19.5"x30" (l,d,h) and has seven drawers total in perfect working condition. I had so much fun creating this piece because it is so eclectic and colorful. This desk has a lot of personality and you definitely won't find another quite like it!

Black Distressed Dresser

This piece has been distressed to show beautiful reds and some of the natural wood color. The old hardware was replaced with oil-rubbed bronze to continue the distressed theme. The drawers have also been painted black. The dresser includes a matching mirror. Again, I am tempted to keep this dresser for myself!
