Large, Square Coffee Table

I absolutely fell in love with the size and shape of this coffee table. I had never used milk paint before so I decided to use it on this piece. I love how the table distressed with the milk paint - perfection. I also glazed the table afterward to give it a little extra character.

The coffee table measures 40"x40"x18". (l,w,h)

Mid Century Gray Dresser

Check out this mid century dresser that I just finished. This dresser required a little work and it totally paid off - it's so chic! It has been sanded, primed, the hardware has been replaced, painted, and protected with polycrylic. The color is a dark gray. This is such a versatile piece that it could be used in almost any room in your house.

This piece measures 52"x18"x30" (l,d,h).

Mexican Singer Sewing Table - Privately Sold

I almost missed the opportunity to buy this adorable sewing table a few months ago. My husband and I were shopping for possible pieces to refinish and he barely noticed it as we were heading to pay for our finds. I knew it would be a great project as soon as I saw the fun drawers! I love how it turned out and I had planned on posting it for sale, but the same client who purchased the red coffee table decided she had to have it. Score!

French Style Coffee Table

I found this adorable French style coffee table at a thrift store and couldn't wait to refinish it. I decided to paint this piece Bali Bliss by Behr. It has been primed, painted, distressed, glazed, and coated with polycrylic for protection. It would make a very fun accent table for a living room or bedroom.

The table measures 16" high and 27" in diameter.

Red Pepper Coffee Table - Privately Sold

I recently finished this red coffee table for a client's front sitting room. She wanted the darkest red I could find (without it looking too purple), so I chose Red Pepper by Behr. I painted, distressed, and applied polycrylic to protect the surface. I also updated the hardware to add a bit more character to the piece. I love how it turned out and I hope my client can enjoy it for years to come!

Hope Chest - Not for Sale

I have had this hope chest for almost three years and I finally decided to paint it! I wanted it to match a piece of pottery that I have in my home and I think it came out beautifully. I used Frasier Fur, distressed it, and then glazed it with a black glaze. I'm in love with it!

Black, Distressed Roll Top - Not For Sale

I recently finished this roll top desk for my husband's home office. He wanted a nice desk where he could use his laptop, and I was thrilled to find a roll top desk because, let's be honest, nothing beats being able to easily hide the mess a man can make ;). I painted the desk orange (in honor of his alma mater - U of TX, Austin), painted it black, and then distressed it. I added antique, distressed brass bin pulls to the drawers, and plain black knobs to the roll. The desk looks amazing in his new room, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Black, Distressed Coffee Table

I have just finished this coffee table. It has been painted black, distressed, and protected for everyday use. The original knob was replaced with an oil-rubbed bronze hammered bin pull. It also has a drawer which would be perfect to store your remote controls. This coffee table would make an excellent addition to any living room. This piece measures 45"x27"x16" (l,d,h).

White, Antique Chest of Drawers - Privately Sold

I was so thrilled to redo this antique chest of drawers, which was painted a yellow color with a greenish glaze. While my client referred to this piece as "her ugly dresser," I thought that it had a lot of potential and I really enjoyed watching it transform into a classy, distressed chest of drawers. We used the original knobs since they matched the carving on the top of the piece so beautifully, and it was painted a soft cream and distressed to achieve a shabby chic look. I am really pleased with how this chest of drawers turned out, and I know it will be beautiful in my client's master bedroom.

White, Distressed French Provincial Chest

I was really excited to find this very unique French Provincial chest. I believe it used to house a record player, but we replaced the bottom shelf and the backing so it can be used for better storage. It has been painted a crisp white, distressed, and protected for daily use. The chest measures 28"x24.5"x27.5" (l,d,h), and the bottom and top shelves have twelve and nine inches of vertical space, respectively. It could be used for many things such as a side table, a small buffet, storage, etc.

Black, Distressed Chest of Drawers

I just finished this chest of drawers that has been painted black, lightly distressed, and updated with oil-rubbed bronze bin pulls. There are a total of five drawers and the top drawer is divided into three parts for organization. This is a very sturdy and classic piece that would make a nice addition to any bedroom.
The chest of drawers measures 34"x19"x49" (w,d,h).

Robin Egg Blue, Distressed Side Tables

I am amazed at how these matching side tables turned out. I had seen an example in a specialty store and was so excited to try reproducing this style. They have been painted several layers, distressed, and glazed. I have also added oil rubbed bronze bin pulls to update the hardware. These side tables are definitely unique, and they would add color to any room.

They measure 22"x26"x21" (l,d,h). They will only be sold as a pair.

Cherry Computer Armoire

This is not a piece that I have refinished, but I wanted my readers to have a chance to purchase it as well. We are no longer in need of this cherry computer armoire. It is in good condition and could also be used as an entertainment center. Both keyboard and printer shelves slide out to make these items more accessible. It measures 47"x24"x57 (l,d,h) and is very heavy.
